Located in a western suburb of Syracuse, in the center of NY state . . . opportunities for both summer and winter outdoor recreation; visiting historical sites, museums, wineries, breweries, Syracuse University, a variety of ethnic restaurants, diners, coffee shops, boutique and mall shopping. Fun fact: Syracuse is one of the top 10 snowiest cities in the U.S.! The separate entrance goes into a fully updated garage with stairs descending into the basement apartment. The sleeping area includes a double bed, ample closet space, naturally dark (no windows) so promotes restful sleep. Ample/adjustable artificial lighting. Electronic cooking appliances provided in kitchenette in addition to a full-size fridge, microwave, cooking utensils and kitchenware. Included are cleaning, toiletry and first-aid supplies. Installed safety devices: smoke and carbon monoxide detectors, fire extinguisher. A Coway air purifier and a no-pets policy helps to maintain an allergen-free space. A treadmill machine for moderate exercise also provided. A Roku smart-TV, internet/WiFi access included. A thermostat to adjust the heat and a dehumidifier insure that this apartment space is warm, cozy and dry in the winter. Windows including window well (located at opposite end of the basement) open and close to allow positive air flow as needed, keeping the space cool/refreshing during the summer months. Off-street parking is provided via a double-wide asphalt driveway. Although this apartment is a separate space from the rest of the house, please know that by renting from me you are making an agreement with an owner who lives above you, has a quiet lifestyle, and is readily accessible by phone when not physically present on the premises, and who is committed to making your stay a comfortable one, i.e. "your home away from home." Depending on the timing of your stay, I am willing to assist with transportation to and from the Syracuse airport, and with other excursions.
